Podiatric Surgeon

Rena is a Podiatric Surgeon, she is the director of foot heaven and has owned the practice for 18years. She specialises in managing all types of foot and ankle related problems. She has extensive experience in treating plantar fasciitis (heel pain), Foot pain associated with arthritis, fungal toe nails, hammer toes and bunions. She also prescribes orthotics for musculoskeletal problems ranging from high arched to flat feet .

Rena graduated with an Honour’s Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatry from The University of Westminster and a Post Graduate Diploma in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery from the University of Brighton. She gained her Surgical Fellowship in 2019. She is currently based at Rotherham Community Hospital as an Honorary Registrar in Podiatric Surgery. She is actively involved in promoting the profession through local regional and national presentations and has been involved in the HCPC Annotation of Podiatric Surgery project. She has recently been invited to take part as faculty member on cadaver dissection and surgical skills for podiatrist courses and regularly assists on workshops for potential and aspiring podiatric surgeons. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, salsa dancing and running.

Extended Scope Podiatrist

I am a qualified podiatrist specialised in podiatric Surgery.
I am currently working towards gaining my surgical passport with aim to practise podiatric surgery.

I have extensive experience working within the NHS as a band 5 and band 6 podiatrist. I also currently work at Rotherham Community Hospital as an honorary extended scope podiatrist within the surgical team.

I take part in multiple sports, including skiing, swimming, water polo and am a member of Street dance performance group which performs at events all over south Yorkshire.
